Yep, 2019, and I'm having this problem too. My debit card has been used countless times over the past couple years to check out at Walmart and now out of nowhere Walmart won't authorize it. I even went to the ATM to make sure someone didn't hack my bank account and everything was fine. I have plenty of $$ to cover a $15 purchase. I used my card at another store and a fast food restaurant since this started two days ago with no problems, so this has to be on Walmart.
