Slow as 28kbs dialup from 1996
This has been going on for a few years, & it seems the Walmart website management is continually making it worse rather than fix it. There's been frequently sale & deals at Walmart online that I'd love to buy, but lose my patience on their very slow, unresponsive, overloaded pages that take forever to finish loading.
Pinging the site is fast enough. Or you think the page has loaded, but everything just locks up when we scroll down because the page is still busy loading useless crap rather than sell be the product & let me buy it quickly. I am not have this problem online shopping anywhere else. You don't need everything but the kitchen sink on every page!
There's some great deals but it's not worth the bother & aggrivation of slow 1990s dialup speeds on a modern website.
I'm sure their web techs are using a monster quad core computer with 64gb of RAM, a 1gb graphics card, & a lightning speed fiber optic connection so don't notice a problem, but that's not what most of their shoppers are using!
Fire those guys & get a real website tech that knows what they're doing. People will not shop through this headache online if it's far much easier to just click somewhere else.
