Site:

Since Jan 1 I have been trying to log on to the citi site ( citibank.com, citicards.com, myciti.com, I tried them all ) and get an error that says "information not recognized" and then a screen asking for me to enter my ATM/Debit card # ( which I don't even have one ), my bank account # ( which I don't even have one with citi) and my ATM PIN !! (which I don't have, and they claim they would never ask for that but clearly they are ).

I know my userid and password is correct as I am entering it.  I tried multiple browsers, all have same issue.

I called citi and first they said they would never ask for that information but then later confirmed it was indeed a valid citi website screen asking for that information.

They said they did some kind of migration of accounts and said i needed to try logging in through Universal AT&T webset ( what the heck?) that didn't work either.

They said I would have to have my account blocked and canceled and then I will have to re-register with a new userid and tie all my credit cards to the new account again.  I said, no, I should not have to do anything because I didn't change anything, and they said "yes, that's true but Citi DID change something by migrating your account and now you will have to re-register and start over".  I asked if somebody at citi could do that for me because I didn't have time (all of the above already waited a huge amount of time just to get this far!! ) and they said "no, you will just have to re-register when you find you have time to do it".  Terrible way to treat customers.  I just hung up.

Might be time for customers to just start doing some migrating of their own ( to another bank ) if this is the way citi is going to treat us.
