Keeps loosing Internet Connection

For several weeks now the internet fails for no reason. By box just goes red for internet, then it comes back. This will usually happen about every half hour to an hour. But lately, especially today, it's almost every 5 minutes that the internet goes red on my box. GRRRRR!!! and my 2wire box is new, so this can't be the reason!!!!
