iPhone5 says "No Service" for the past hour

My iPhone5 says "No Service" for the past hour and I'm at home where I always have service.  I power reset my phone twice and still nothing.

my phone still says no service from after lunch here in hawaii - Big Island.. Dont know whats happening. Does anyone know or been informed about this?

I live on the big island as well.  Kona side.  It's been down since around 5pm for me.

I am also here on the big island in south kona, and there has been "no service' also for me since about 4 pm today. I drove up ther street around my neighbor hood to see if i could get a signal, but nothing. 911 doesnt even work. this could become a big liability if they don't solve this soon. i am going to be asking at&t to discout my monthly bill for this lack of service.

yep im here in kona as well... But yea same here.. i will be asking att to discount my bill for sure..

I also found these comments on the at&t facebook, so this seems to only be affecting the Kona side? I haven't seen any reports from anywhere else...

Yes, Hilo side of the island still has at&t service

a day later and still no AT&T service.  Just the Kona side seems affected.

9/23/2013 (Monday) 

*Cell Sevice (AT&T) has finally been restored in Kona/S. Kona (Big Island) after 24hrs of "No Service"

9/22/2013 (Sunday) 

*At&t  cell service is down in Kona/ S. Kona (Big Island, Hawaii) as of today 1:30pm local time. Phones display "No Service"
