Email not working on Outlook or Iphone

My email is not working consistently. It prompts me for my userid and password. I have several .bellsouth.net and several .att.net email addresses and they have the same problem. They work and then, in a few minutes, they don't work. It varies from hour to hour as to which ones work and which don't. I know that the passwords are correct since I can go to the att/yahoo site and log in and see that there is email but my outlook and iphone cannot pull it from the server. Is it possible that some of the servers have issues but not all of them? That could explain the varying issues that I have. Could someone check the status of your servers?

I am having issues, as well via the Yahoo! webmail interface, but am able to get my mail on iPhone. Was, however, able to access using the "AT&T Mail Classic" interface.

We are all experiencing the same issue in my house. Myself, My Wife, and Son all have the error box popping up on our email. two of use use Thunderbird, one uses Outlook. I checked on the att.net website and you can log into email fine there. It's slow but it works.

This has happened to me off and on for a while. First one email address and then it heals and another one fails. I also could use the att/yahoo site to see my emails. After googling for a while, I found another option to try - change the server information for my addresses. I did that this morning and have not received the message again today. Keeping my fingers crossed. Don't know if it will fix your problem or not. I am using Outlook 2003 for my email. I used the following: incoming is pop.att.yahoo.com and outgoing is smtp.att.yahoo.com - incoming port is 995 with SSL checked and outgoing port is 465 with SSL checked. Not sure if these are what att/yahoo wants us to use but, for now anyway, I am good. I had been using the old mail.bellsouth.net server information. Maybe this is their way of getting us to shift over to the new servers. Good luck.

Email not work - using all the same settings as Kris (note above) - AT&T cannot seem to fix it. Thinking about another provider. Have had issues getting emails for more than a week. Purchased new 2013 outlook thinking it might solve the problem. Very inconvenient. If anyone has a resolution please share.

Use enterprise data package with AT&T and your emails will be able to be received on your iPhone and on your outlook
