EMAIL NOT WORKING AND ATT LYING

ATT EMAIL has been down all day (error 19)- I called their 800 number and they say it is Universal, everyone is down, not just me, and they do not know the cause yet, but technicians are workinng on it    In the meantime, i received emails to my work email server- from people on ATT EMAIL!!!!!! SO IF IT IS UNIVERSAL, HOW IS THEIR EMAIL WORKING???????????
