Cannot access att.net

I have been very frustrated that I haven't been able to access my email for a WEEK now. I have (had?) an att.net address and start page but now it changed on its own to yahoo. I didn't request these changes. I was asked (forced) to create a new Yahoo address but I am totally unable to link the new one to the old one. I JUST WANT MY OLD CONTACTS LIST!!!!
