AMEX Sites all down at 1820 hours PDT

Has AMEX become the next Citigroup?

can not get into site for the last 2 days

When I attempt to load AMEX (online.americanexpress.com), the Connecting circle just keeps on ... circling. I updated Firefox just to me sure; nothing. I cold booted and warm booted; nothing. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks.
