Is anyone else having this issue? I can create labels fine but when going to checkout... nothing.

If you are getting to the payment screen but it won't accept any credit cards or pay pal, your account may be locked. My account was locked at the beginning of July and it took me 10 days to find out through research online what was going on. Not sure why my account was locked but call USPS Technical Support at 1-800-344-7779 and hopefully they can help you. If you account is locked, it takes about 48 hours for USPS to unlock it. I hope this helps.
