thanks for following up on this. I thought it was my Roku, because it is working on my laptop.

No ETA, I called them around 3am PST, I have 4 netflix account and 4 smart TVs at this location and no of them work, they all work fine on computers but not on TV, this is obviously a intentional thing by netflix to save bandwidth and money cuz they know alot of ppl will want to watch netflix on their big screen TV during xmas, i tried all sorts of troubleshooting before I called them to make sure it's not my equipment's fault, and the worst thing is netflix has no intention of letting their subscribers know they are having problems, they want their subscribers think it's their equipment by not making a one sentence official announcement on their homepage, they even took down their help page of their website so people can't find their 800 number to call them, i had to dig their number out from google in order to call them in the first place.

My suggestion: 1. cancel netflix 2. file class action 3. use something else, like hulu, ppstream or other similar sites *For Netflix to be down during xmas *not inform their subscribers of their problems by making official announcement on their homepage *take down their help page to hide their 800 so people don't call them *make people think it's their TV/Console/Etc... is defective and waste hours of time troubleshooting IS UNFORGIVEABLE
