unable to access and/or log into ebay all morning - why? no maintenance notices currently when i google search - come on ebay at least put a message up that the site is down - i hope you will compensate all us users for the inconvenience

Compensate???? I love a comedian. They will probably up the listing fees to cover the losses they have incurred! LOL. Nice that we were notified though, wasn't it! I keep getting username or password incorrect, but when I search an item I am watching it tells me it's in my watch list, yet I can't sign in to confirm this.
DO NOT RING CUSTOMER SERVICES, YOU WILL BE TOLD BY SOME FACELESS MESSAGE THAT THEY CAN'T TAKE YOUR CALL.
Perhaps they are being investigated for tax avoidance. They are based in Ireland!
This is so annoying, I actually thought IT had blocked Ebay...they should have least have the decency to announce the site is down. Hope they consider items that are about to end...
