Comcast POP3 email accounts can't receive email

Parameters set up correctly, no results for POP3.  Switched to IMAP account, normal connectivity.  Has Comcast discontinued POP3 server support?

my comcast box keeps refilling itself with the same emails i just deleted!  Going on for 2 days now. Whats the deal?  This is not specific to the app... Happens whether i login from my PC or mobile device.  People are also telling me that the emails they send me are getting bounced. Please help.
