no e-mail for 5 days & ATT refuses to reset password

After 5 days of no service, 2 hour long calls with Customer Service. a promised call-back that never came,  and several attempts to use the change password option  I was told that because the account was originally part of DSL service I no longer have its considerd a free stand-alone account and they will not reset the password. If this was an account I was paying for or it was  attached to another ATT service I was receiving (and apparrently my cellular account doesn't count) they would be able to reset the password at their end.

Needless to say I am an unhappy customer, and as soon as my cell phone contract with ATT expires I will get a new cellphone provider.

I am unable to use email even though I have AT &T cell as well as land line and long distance service. No one has told me anything except they are having trouble and hope to have it fixed soon...but that was last Friday.

I am still not able to access this account after a week and customer support does nothing to resolve either
