Unable to process request at this time

Have this problem a lot - after entering user, validating image, answering security question, then entering password, finally get error message on "My Verizon" page - "unable to process your request at this time", with instructions to try again later or call their phone-support number.  Stupid, stupid, stupid.  If they know the service is down, why make people go through 4 prompt-screens before telling them so.  (And if I wanted to sit on hold with a phone to my ear, I wouldn't be trying to use the web site in the first place.)
