Unable to send or recieve emails for two days

WTF!! I have internet, no email?! For TWO days?! I continue to get requests for my password. I contacted Xfinity support, and was told there is an outage "in my area", which includes NJ & PA. Seriously? Don't tell me it is weather related either. The "winter storm" that came thru was a total non-event. Please get me back online.
