can't access website

Just bought a GPS through Best Buy because I have been trying to buy it on Amazon since yesterday and I grew impatient. It happens often. Is this a worldwide problem? I've read comments about the same problem I had. If I can't buy something I want I move on to the more accessible website. Sorry.
