Email down in Florida

Comcast email down and Comcast customer service has no idea when it will be restored. Customer Service Rep told me national outages like happen to all providers from time to time and I should try back again in a couple hours. Very comforting. Looking at this site it appears email went down yesterday evening late and if anyone at Comcast has any idea when it will be up again they're not passing it on to the front line reps.
As an aside we have issues in my area so frequently I have Comcast on my speed dial as "POS Comcast".
