Can't get email

All day today August 02, 2013. I have logged in on the Xfinity homepage okay. When I click on email the browser sits with a circle revolving that says "Connecting. " This in on a tab in Firefox. Tried with Internet Explorer with same result. Tried second computer with same problem. Connected to a different network with the same problem. All other web sites are fine. Many of the Xfinity links work like TV schedule. But trying to connect to email does not work.
