Not receiving email; unable to sign in on site or

access comcast.com. I've spoken to a Comcast support person and she narrowed it down to being my responsibility because I am connected to another wifi, and the security settings on this computer may not allow access. Makes no sense to me, I've been using this for over six weeks without any problems. She suggested I reset the modem. But sounds to me this might be a comcast problem. So far over 5 reports of not being able to connect to comcast today.
