Pages not loading.

I clicked on an entire order to be processed with 1-Click and the page stalled while loading. I do not know whether the order was placed or not. Every time I tried to look at my account the pages would not load and it would completely stop in the middle of loading. I tried signing out (finally managed to do that) but now I can not get signed back in. I ordered three items for a birthday and can not find out what happened. I did get a gmail notification that I could "rip" a CD that was in the order. HOWEVER, I did NOT get a gmail notification that the order had been placed. I am using Safari. All other websites seem to be operating normally. However, amazon is completely messed up and this is very frustrating given my time constraints. I pay extra for amazon Prime but the website is delaying the process.
