No Internet connection

i have 2 or 3 bars and LTE is on. I have an iphone 5. Trying to login to facebook - error message- no internet connection. no updates for news apps since Saturday 5/11/13. No courtesy message from At &t online, on tv nothing. If i missed it i apolgize, if i didn't miss it ...how rude and inconsiderate for paying customers. not good customer service.
