Continuous interruptions of DSL service and error pages

While using the computer the internet service is being interrupted ( disconnected) every 2 - 3 minutes, going off and on again. The internet light in the modem goes red for around 3 seconds and comes back green again. I live in the Fountaineblau area of Miami, Fl.
Besides, I am getting the message "Server not found" , when I go from one webpage to the next, having to try again for the page to appear.
