Can't log into my account

After I installed the 5/3 app on my new iPhone I could not log in to the app or via the website.  I went to a 5/3 branch and an employee there said I might have to wait 2 weeks for it to work again like her own son did when he changed phones.  Now I tried my computer at home and really am locked out!!!  This is wridiculoius!!!
