Game will not open, says no internet connected

Since about 8 a.m. this morning upon the release of a new Christmas adventure, I have been unable to open the game. It tells me there is no internet connection, yet my internet is working just fine with all my other games and streaming movies. Nevertheless, I reset my IPad. When that didn't work, I let it sit for several hours and I'm still told I have no internet connection. This has happened before in the past and it was not my internet connection, it was your website or server.
