keeps locking up

Having a lot of trouble with the site today and yesterday. The site either goes blank/black, doesn't refresh, doesn't save, or freezes up, can't scroll the screen, etc.... If I click refresh it works fine for a bit, then goes back to the same thing. I have occasionally gotten the error message that I am "having trouble communicating with the server." Otherwebsites are working fine for me (like Jigsaw.com).
