search engine hangs

Shortly after being bought out by amazon, somebody must have altered their search engine code; it now hangs. I noticed it the day it happened and reported it to them, and it appeared to be fixed, but within a few weeks the same problem recurred and became permanent. Looks like if you don't have their favorite browser, you can say goodbye to doing business with them. A pity since they were/are the biggest used book dealer on the net.
