Using Outlook 2003 unable to access Comcast Email 0931 hrs 3 Jan 2013

Cannot connect to get email via PC (desktop station) with Outlook.  Can access via Mozilla Thunderbird and an I-Pad for all accounts.  Have tested the account and it gets all green check marks.  When sending info to get mail get the "Reported Error - (0X800408FC) server name cannot be found.  Server name is mail.comcast.net.
