unable to access email yet again

Unable to access Comcast email multiple times over past five days. Called tech support three times. No one could fix it. Third tech support person suggested I call a service that would fix my computer for a fee. When I balked, he said he would "escalate to the back end department." I have no idea what that means. What are people doing about this problem?
