can't pay bills online.

I couldn't log in all morning.  NOw I can log in, but can't pay bills.  Why wouldn't they put a message up on the home page to at least alert us as to when the problem might be fixed.  Not sure the companies we need to pay will be okay with our late payments due to Chase being down.
