Site won't open on iPad

Site will not load in safari, keeps routing me to the App Store trying to force me to download the app. I use the site because I do not want the app since it constantly crashed my old iPad, which is no longer functional. Fix this or I will get rid of Pinterest completely. I do not want the app and will not download it no matter what
