att.yahoo.com login validation does not respond

Tried both att.net and att.yahoo.com with MSIE, Chrome, Firefox and Safari on Win7, Win8 and iOS. Fill out login screen, hit Enter, and...nothing. No response. Finally times out with "Web Page Unavailable...". started ~9am CST. Before that, system had been getting slower and slower.
