No Cell Signal

It's been a whole week. My phone has been searching for signal and I havnt been able to place calls or receive them. It started when I couldn't get signal in my home but i was okay outside. The next day I couldn't even get signal outside!!! I live just across the water from NYC!!!! Ive never before had trouble with this provider in this house. ATT claims there are towers down but it's been a whole week!
