Bob G - Thank you! Been dealing with this issue for months now and it's been so annoying that i haven't even been using Netflix since. Anyway, after performing the Smart Hub reset (http://support-us.samsung.com/cyber/popup/iframe/pop_troubleshooting_fr.jsp?idx=382159&modelname=PN51D8000FF&modelcode=PN51D8000FFXZA) everything works perfectly now.
