Cannot access email - home page redirect

My friend cannot access his comcast email. It keeps redirecting him to homepage. It seems to login but it loads for a few seconds and then shows a fail message in the address bar and redirects back to home page. All other websites work. So then I try to log in my own comcast email from work and it's tjhe same for me. The issue is on their end. We're their email servers hacked? Shame on whatever the reason is. Comcast is a big company, they have no excuse to act like yahoo.
