Can't delete e-mails

I can't delete from my inbox any e-mails dated January 28, 2017 or January 31, 2017. There are 27 in all. I don't need them any more but I'm stuck with them. Whenever I try to delete them, I get the message in the screenshot, even though my inbox and trash folder are NOT full!
