Emails not coming in

Starting on 1/26/17 at 2:57pm, we received not one single email in an account that typically sees 20-30 emails a day, throughout the day.  At 7am on 1/27/17 emails began showing up in the account, however, one email, a system response from a legal website went to three other attroneys but not to our account.  Comcast's CSA department insists that unless we have the "bounce back" message (from an email that we know was sent to us but not received by us), they can not do anything about emails that get bounced from a valid email account because "they don't track bounced emails that were sent to a valid email comcast account. !!!!!  However, they said that we should get our own domain which would be able to keep track of bounce back emails.  One problem with that is that we would still be using Comcast's flippin internet to reach any private domain/email system.
