cannot log into my account "sorry" message

I've been trying to send emails and chat but I haven't been able to reach a chat agent, as a message is displayed telling me to please wait, but nothing ever happens.  Also, I usually get a response saying an email was received and comcast will get with me as soon as possible, but I sent an email earlier today and there has not been a receipt of email sent to me as of yet.
