solution to blank email login page; disable adBlockers for that page

Followed the advice of another poster from 7:18am today.

This advice is solid.  Disabled the adBlocker for the login page and reloaded the page.  Loaded with no problem and was able to log in.

Time to switch providers.
Recommend that all comcast customers find a better provider. Comcast is terrible. Overpriced; lame customer service; simple problems that they can't fix. In the Bay Area, try MonkeyBrains.
