No email access mobile or xfinity site

I have no email access.  Spoke with Comcast sunday am and was promised a call back by 5pm Sunday night.  No call back so followed up and transferred to Tier 3.  They indicated sporatic outages.  Attempted to resolve my issue, but indicated they are escalating and someone will follow up in 24 - 48 hours.  Very disappointing.  Did not say the cause.
