Site appears to be up, but cannot logon

The main site, https://www.chase.com appears to be up - at least the webpage properly displays, but as soon as you enter your username and password, then click the "log in" button - there is no reponse after that. Internet Explorer just says "chase.com is not responding". Oh, wow, the site just now allowed me to login. Guess they fixed the problems.
