Website is down. Bank employee blames weather.

I've been trying to access my account for more than a week now to no avail.  I called the bank to find out if it was just me or if others had reported issues.  I was told that the employees were also having trouble accessing the network and that others had called to complain.  She believes the issue is the weather and has nothing further to say when I point out that BBT servers are not located in our city and therefore are not affected by the weather.  She also disregards the fact that the website has been sporadically down for more than week when the weather has been clear, sunny, and warm.
