I'm an employee of BB&T, our IT department is trying to say that we are having a DDOS attack. This is not correct. Our server is not capable of handeling the amount of traffic flowing through the website due to a recent merge with Bank Atlantic. The site had its issues before the merge but since the merge, Oct. 15, we have had nothing but issues witht he website and internal operations. Calling will not fix the issue, and it is appearing that time is not fixing the issue as well. We will continue to tell clients that this is a result of DDOS but it is completlly false, its just that our technology is not adequate enough to stay up. My personal apologies for the inconvience, Online banking should be the easiest thing in banking to keep up to date.
