sbc yahoo won't load

When I try to load the sbc.yahoo site it will not do so.  My browser tries to connect until finally it gives up.  Neither Firefox or IE can get through.  At one point (using FF) it almost had the site loaded, then quit because no information was being sent/received.  I was finally able to access my sbcglobal email by going to Yahoo's main page, but "the server couldn't understand" my attempt to log into my sbc.yahoo personalized page.
