known problem with AT&T (Yahoo) inbound mail server(s)

I spoke with a carbon-based lifeform at AT&T a few hours back who said that the problem with the inbound mail server(s) was a known problem which should be fixed "within 12 hours." Until then, I've noticed that traceroute to inbound.att.net or mail.yahoo.com will almost always fail.
