email site does not come up when I click on letter icons

I get a page of overlapping text on the left side of the page of AT&T Yahoo email when I click on the letter icon at the bottom right, top of the page or the letter icon on messenger. It was working correctly for a few hours Monday, 1-1-14, but it has returned and does not operate now.
