It freezes up when I try to erase more than one message at at time. And the messages I have tried to erase are there permantly. Its very slow to load. Please Help fix this

slow.. tried to erase e-mails and in locked up.. when I tried to erase again it will let me erase new ones but the old ones are locked in and it won't let me erase them. Are you going to fix this. There is 80 e-mails I can't erase.
I Called the phone # and because I only use the e-mail part of the aol they wouldn't send it to the technical people,unless I sighed up. It would be a free trial for one month but they needed still need my card info. to sign me up. I wouldn't give it to them stating if I'm allowed to use the e-mail for free, why aren't you fixing it for free. went around and around, gave up and went to comcast.
