Cannot log into my aol mail account from desktop. Keep getting this message:

Mine is not working as well, 1:29pm Monday 2/8. I checked someone else's account, which is through the actual AOL software and not just through a browser, and it seems to work fine.
I'm going to try to download AOL Desktop for Windows and see if I can access my mail; I will post once I do to say whether or not it works.

Yeah, I just posted that I can get my mail with the AOL software, which I never wanted before because I didn't care for it. But, if it's the only way around that error, then c'est la vie. I downloaded it at http://discover.aol.com/products-and-services/aol-desktop-for-windows.
