Cannot Sign In

I put in all of my information, click on "SIGN IN USING OUR SECURE SERVER," and the same login page reloads. Every single time. I tried to change my email, which worked, but now I put in my new login information and click "SIGN IN USING OUR BROKEN SERVER," and yet again the page reloads.

Yes, this problem has been going around for many months. If you dig deeper, this happens not usually at the unsecure storefront, but when you try to do something that requires secure sign on (as when going to your cart, or checking an order). The security certificate then returned is that of Amazon.com in Brazil (https://www.amazon.com.br), and since this is unusual and seen as a security risk, either you can't go further or you have to click through a dire warning page. To my knowledge, there has never been an official Amazon explanation. Are their servers just overloaded, or is a hacker trying to break in, or what?
