Sites keep reloading

whenever I access AOL and then open a web site the page will only last about 10 seconds and then it will reload to a blank page,,,I cleared the cache,,cookies,,etc. I even uninstalled and then reinstalled AOL but it still happens. If I open AOL from Internet explorer it works fine,,it only happens when I use aol's software.
